Raymond
E. Krek is the managing partner at Krek & Associates,
SC - a general practice firm in Jefferson,
Wisconsin. Attorney Krek earned a B.A. cum laude, in
1969, from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and his J.D. from Marquette
University Law School in 1972. He served as Family Court Commissioner,
Jefferson County for five years. Attorney Krek has been included in The
Best Lawyers in America since 1995 for family law and has been a Fellow in
the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1989. He served as Chair
of the Wisconsin Bar Family Law Section from 1992-93 and chaired the Door County
Family Law Workshop from 1988-92. Attorney Krek sat on the Committee on
Professional Ethics from 1986-93 and chaired the Bench-Bar Committee from
1992-94. Attorney Krek has been a frequent presenter in the area of Family
Law since 1987 at U.W. Law School, Family Law Section and ABA CLE presentations.
In 1997 he produced "Medicine for the Mind," awarded Presidential Showcase CLE
status at the ABA annual convention in San Francisco, CA. While
emphasizing Family Law, Attorney Krek continues to have a general practice
caseload, including: complex civil litigation, real estate, environmental
and zoning issues; personal injury and professional negligence cases. His
most recent interests include difficult custody cases involving domestic
violence, neurotransmitter disorders (depression, anxiety) and alcohol/drug use.
He and his wife Gayle have five adult children.

Attorney Chad T. Buehler attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 2001. He received his law degree in 2004 from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where he wrote for the John Marshall Law Review.
Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Buehler accepted a position at the Madison law firm of Hayes, Van Camp & Schwartz, S.C. He then decided to return to Jefferson County where he grew up and joined his current firm, Krek & Associates, S.C., as an associate attorney in 2005. Mr. Buehler truly enjoys practicing law in a small town where he gets to know his clients on a personal level.
Mr. Buehler focuses his practice on family law, criminal defense and personal injury. Besides representing his own clients in divorce litigation, Mr. Buehler frequently serves as a Guardian ad Litem in which he represents the best interests of children during custody and placement disputes.
Mr. Buehler’s practice in criminal defense encompasses all varieties of criminal conduct including felonies, misdemeanors and all levels of operating while intoxicated charges. He frequently works on complex civil litigation with Attorney Raymond Krek in such matters as medical malpractice, legal malpractice and all other types of personal injuries.
Mr. Buehler is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Jefferson County Bar Association. He resides in Jefferson County and his personal interests include being an avid sports fan of the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and Bucks.

Daniel E. Olsen is an associate attorney at Krek & Associates. Attorney Olsen was graduated from UW-Madison in 1983 with a BA-History degree and University of Colorado Law School in Boulder in 1991 with his juris doctorate (J.D.). After law school, Daniel served as a law clerk for Judge James D. Zimmerman, 1st Judicial District, in Golden, Colorado, for a little over one year. He then worked first as an associate and then a partner in the law firm of Stiner, Beck & Olsen, in Golden Colorado, handling all areas of family, juvenile and criminal law. In February 1995, Attorney Olsen became a sole practitioner in Boulder, Colorado, doing litigation work in the areas of family, juvenile and criminal law throughout the State of Colorado. During that time, he dedicated himself to assisting abused and neglected children and abused women involved in the legal system. He was recognized by Women in Crisis Family Tree, with its Annual Celebration of Achievement Community Award in 2006 for his commitment to providing legal aid to battered and abused women.
Attorney Olsen moved back to Jefferson, Wisconsin, where he had grown up and graduated from high school, in May 2007. Since joining Krek & Assciates, while primarily doing family law cases, Daniel has handled all areas of law normally associated with a general practice firm representing clients in such diverse areas as wrongful death, legal and medical malpractice, evictions, probate, contract law, criminal law and serving as Guardian ad Litem in contested custody cases. Attorney Olsen continues to be licensed and represents clients in Colorado as well.
